Photography found me before I found it. Growing up in England, I was always the one with a camera — capturing everything from family days out to my friends' football matches on a Saturday afternoon. When I moved to Alberta, something clicked. The Rocky Mountains, the downtown Calgary skyline at dusk, the wide open prairie light — it's a completely different kind of beautiful, and I haven't stopped shooting since.
What started as a personal passion has grown into Melisee Photography — a business built on the simple belief that every person, family, and community deserves beautiful images that tell their authentic story.
I work across Airdrie and the greater Calgary area — from family portrait sessions and graduation milestones to sideline coverage of Airdrie soccer teams and the W.H. Croxford High School football team. I've also photographed corporate tech events for Code to Cloud, which taught me how to read a fast-paced room and capture what actually matters. No matter the setting, the goal is always the same: real moments, not performances.
When I'm not shooting for a client, you'll find me hiking into the Rockies with a camera, chasing the Calgary skyline at golden hour, or watching a local soccer match somewhere around Airdrie.
